Molly

Molly

Hi-ya!  I’m Molly, a 2 year-old, 35-lb. Boston Terrier who has heard that there are human families out there who actually enjoy sharing their lives with the family dog(s) – providing a lifetime of love, exercise, yummy food, treats, snuggles, etc, etc, etc!  Woah Baby! SIGN ME UP!

I spent my first two years of life a bit neglected.  I lived with another Boston Terrior (potentially my mom but no one is sure) – mostly outside – and we didn’t receive too much human attention.  Man-oh-man – how life can change!  I’m LOVING life at my foster home – enjoying the company of my foster canine sibling, leash-walks around the ‘hood, those “Kong” treats with peanut butter inside and, most of all, CAR RIDES!  If I must say so myself, I make quite an adorable copilot with my pointy ears and big ole’ Boston Terrier SMILE!  Some other adorable characteristics include my ability to ‘barrel’ my way under blankets as well as rubbing my back on the floor while I grunt with happiness.  I’m quickly learning the ropes of being an indoor dog – I’m (mostly) potty-trained, know how to sit and I’m adjusting to a crate for short periods of time.

Might you be that fantastic Forever human who will show me that the world really is a good, fun and exciting place?  If so, please email Paws & Co. Adoptions at pawscoadoptions@gmail.com or fill out an adoption application on the website today!

Sassy

Good day, gentle-people.  I'm Sassy, a proper 6 year-old, 53-lb English bulldog who is looking for love.   Although I try to live up to my refined proper-English-lady roots, I just can't help the frequent snorts & other noises that I emit.  Guess I'll have to focus on the positive side of these body acoustics...they (generally) make you humans *smile*!!

Despite our "sourpuss" expression, us English bulldogs are considered docile & affectionate.  I don't disappoint as I'm a super-star cuddler!  I’m great with most people once we get to know each other – although I’m a little suspicious of those rug-rat-humans (their manners can be a little questionable) so I’d prefer living with older children and adults only please.  My amazing foster mom compares me to Meryl Streep as I make middle-age look GOOD – full of class, grace and still with a long ‘career’ of snuggles & smiles ahead of me!

Through no fault of my own, I’ve bounced around between several different homes.  One of my previous families kept me in a crate for prolonged periods of time so I’m not a huge crate-fan.  Don’t worry, I make my English-people proud as I seem to have great house-manners.  I can be a bit picky about other dogs (enjoying the company of some – but not others) so I'll need to meet all family members to ensure that we'll make good life-long companions.  No one (including me!) is sure about how I’d cohabitate with a cat as I have yet to have any witnessed encounters.

Won't you please come meet the short-est, square-est gal available for adoption through Paws & Co. Adoptions?!?   You can start the process by emailing pawscoadoptions@gmail.com or filling out an application on the Paws & Co. website TODAY!

Wee Lil’ Callaghan O’Grady

Top o’ the Morning to ya! I’m Wee Lil’ Callaghan O’Grady and, at 12 wks and 6.5 lbs, I’m doing my darnedest to grow into my fantastic name (I’ll probably be about 15-20 lbs when full grown)!  I’m a happy-go-lucky lad (called “Cal” for short ) who is thought to be part terrier/part teddy bear.   Seriously – there’s no other explanation to my fluffy, cuteness except to presume that I’ve got some teddy-bear-genes on the inside!

I’m a snuggly, cuddly bear who loves to be held.  Don’t get me wrong, I can romp with the best of pups (I especially love romping with my 75-lb canine foster sibling) but, at the end of the day, I’m just looking for a warn lap to nuzzle up in.  Like all puppies, I need a family with the time, dedication and patience to teach me ALL that is expected of an adult canine.  Given my young age, I’m likely to get along well with all creatures and I’d love continued exposure to friendly children, cats and dogs as I grow.

Need a little lucky charm for St. Patrick’s Day 2014?  If so, please email pawscoadoptions@gmail.com or fill out an adoption application on the website today and ensure you correctly spell and/or pronounce my name:

Wee Lil’ Callaghan O’Grady !

Bella

Ciao Bella! Bella – beautiful outside. Bella – beautiful inside. Bella – ME!
Ciao to you all. I’m Bella – a 3 year-young lab/husky mix who is 100% beautiful both inside and out.  I’m simply a victim of my genetics as my former family decided I grew too big for their family.  While I’m sad about leaving the children (who I adored) in my former home, I’m an optimistic gal who has full faith that I’ll find my perfect Forever Family with the help of Paws & Co.!
At 70 loveable lbs, I’m looking for a home with a yard where I can stretch my beautiful legs.  I’d love a doggie sibling or two (although not mandatory!) as I get along well with all dogs I’ve met.  I’ve yet to encounter a cat so I’m not quite sure what I think about them.  I’m a young, energetic pup who needs a family with the time and dedication to keep us both active and healthy.  Our active time should be enjoyable for us both as I’m rather well-behaved on a leash!
As my former family didn’t have enough time to care for me, I can be a bit “clingy” to you humans.  I like to follow you all around the house and I don’t love to be left alone.  I just know that my perfect Forever Family will help me learn to feel secure and trust that you’ll always come home to me!
If a beautiful-on-the-inside & beautiful-on-the-outside girl might fit well into your family, please emailpawscoadoptions@gmail.com or fill out an adoption application on the website today. Until then, Ciao Bella!

Scarlett

“After all…tomorrow is another day.”

Good day! I’m Scarlett & the above quote by fancy Ms. Scarlett O’Hara perfectly illustrates my sunny views on life.  I’m a 1.5 year-young little (40-lb.) lady who, for some silly reason, was relinquished to a shelter along with my doggie friend (named Rhett, of course!)  While no one is sure why our former human companion(s) couldn’t keep us, the Paws & Co. folks really don’t believe is was behavior-related as I’m a sweet-as-tea lady!

I get along just peachy with all dogs I’ve encountered through Paws & Co.  And, while I seem to LOVE all humans I’ve encountered, I might just knock over those youngins in my exuberance displays of athletic spasticity (how’s that for a visual, eh?!?)  As far as the feline species, I have yet to encounter them but my foster mom, bless her heart, thinks I probably shouldn’t cohabitate with a cat given my strong instinct to chase squirrels.

I’ll need a family with the time, dedication and patience to help me learn exactly what is expected of a stellar adult canine.  I’ve got a head start, though, as I’m already crate-trained, potty-trained and I’m quickly learning some basic obedience commands.

Might you be interested in givin’ me some sugar for the rest of our lives?  If so, let’s start already by your emailing mail pawscoadoptions@gmail.com or fill out an adoption application on the website today!

Rhett

Frankly, my dears, I DO give a darn!

I give a darn about my about doggie bones (fun! fun!); I give a darn about keeping your carpet tidy (that’s a polite way of saying I’m housetrained) but, mostly, I give a darn about making you humans happy!

Good day! I’m Rhett – a 1 year-young, 45-lb shepherd mix who is a lover-not-a-fighter.  For some reason, my doggie girlfriend (named Scarlett, of course!) and I were relinquished to a shelter. While no one is quite sure why our former human companion(s) couldn’t keep us, the Paws & Co. folks really don’t believe it was behavior-related as I’m quite the (Southern) gentleman!

I get along just peachy with all dogs I’ve encountered through Paws & Co. And, although I have yet to meet any young children or cats, my sweet-as-pecan-pie temperament is likely to mesh well with all friendly creatures.  Of course, like any adolescent boy, I need a human with the time, patience and dedication to teach me exactly what is expected of an exceptional adult canine.  Don’t fret, however, as I’m intelligent, cuddly and oh-so-eager to please!

I’m searching for the perfect human who simply gives a darn about me. (S)he must give a darn about snuggling with me; give a darn about how adorably cute my curly tail is; and gives a darn about providing the secure life I deserve!

Fiddle-dee-dee!  Come meet me!  Please hurry on up and email pawscoadoptions@gmail.com or fill out an adoption application on the website today!

Charlie

Charlie

“Happiness is a warm puppy” –Charles Schultz (Peanuts creator)

What about a 55-lb, 1.5 year young handsome-as-all-get-out pup with a lifetime of happiness to offer?!? That’s me! Charlie!  A young, relatively low-maintenance dude who is happily adapting to life outside the shelter and inside my warm foster family.

I enjoy the company of all humans I’ve met although my meetings with children have yet to occur.  I’m also unfamiliar with the feline species so I’m not quite sure what I think of them.  I think my foster-dog-sibling is just swell and a Forever-doggie-sibling might be fun.  Like all adoptable pets, I’ll need to meet all potential Forever Family members to ensure our compatibility.  While I’m not currently that  into the “fetch” game (there are so many other things to explore!), I absolutely LOVE stuffed animals (I especially love tossing them up in the air and pouncing on them as they return to earth!) as well as bones, carrying around tennis balls and wrestling with other dogs.  Did I mention that I’m also an expert kisser?

My foster family is experienced with fostering and states that I’m “one of the easier fosters” they’ve ever had!  So glad to hear that as I don’t want to be a bother!

Now that I’ve told you a bit about myself, I’ll end with my absolute favorite Charles Schultz quote:  “All his life he tried to be a good person. Many times, however, he failed.  For after all, he was only human. He wasn't a dog.”

I promise to love you through all of life’s ups and downs (and hope you’ll return the favor!)  Let’s start our life together already by you emailing pawscoadoptions@gmail.com or filling out an adoption application on the website today (don’t forget to mention Charlie!!)
