Spartan

Hello there, future co-pilots! My name is Spartan and I'm an active, 3-year-young, 50-lb Australian Shepherd/Australian Heeler pup who was rescued from a rural Colorado shelter by my amazing foster family through Paws & Co.!  I feel so fortunate that everyone is so invested in helping me find the absolute perfect co-pilot to spend my days (and nights!) with...

I absolutely love the company of all people and friendly dogs I meet.  I also don't seem to mind little kiddos or cats.  Yep, you read that right...I get along well with all species of creatures!  You may be wondering why I'm specifically searching for a future co-pilot?!?  Well, because I love car rides, of course!  I dream of a family that will let me accompany them around town (or maybe around a farm or ranch?!?)  I'd love if we could venture into the Colorado wilderness - hey...maybe we could even do a little hiking while we're at it?!?
I almost forgot to mention that I'm already house-trained and know some basic obedience commands.  I also love to play, chew bones (but not your furniture or socks!) and cuddle with my humans!

Won't you please come visit me?  At least take the first step today and email
pawscoadoptions@gmail.com or fill out an adoption application on the Paws & Co. Adoptions website - ensuring that you mention your potential future co-pilot, Spartan!

Maxwell

Hello! Hello! Thanks for stopping by my very own autobiography site! I'm Maxwell, a 2.5 year-young Yorkie who weighs in at a whopping 12-lbs. I'm not sure how such a fun-loving, smart guy ended up as a stray...but it happened.  Luckily, I was rescued by my foster family and the Paws & Co. folks are letting me fully participate in finding myself my very own Forever Family!

While staying with the aforementioned (now that's a big word for such a little canine, eh?!?) foster family, I've spent a good amount of time with dogs and humans of all sizes & ages and we all get along just swell.  I have yet to experience the company of a cat but, if you're interested in meeting me, don't let that stop you - please just inquire with the Paws & Co. crew about our potential compatibility!

As a playful guy, I'd love to share my life with an active family who has time for frequent walks or other forms of exercise.  I'd also like the opportunity to display my smarts by learning more doggie obedience commands (I already am housetrained & know some basic obedience but I'd love some further intellectual challenges - tee! hee!!)

If an attractive, energetic and smart guy might fit well into your family, please email
pawscoadoptions@gmail.com or fill out an adoption application on the Paws & Co. Adoptions website today!

Moose

"Hey, good morning, Mile High city! It's now five after the hour of 6:00 A.M. Temperature's a frigid 30 degrees...& it looks like it's gonna be a perfect day to maybe just lie in bed, sleep in, or simply...ADOPT A MOOSE!"

Howdy! In case you didn't recognize that quote, it's (modified) from the alarm clock of my hero, Sully (ya know, that big, awesome dude from Monsters, Inc.)...and I'm Moose - a 3  year-young, Chocolate Lab searching for a Forever Family that will appreciate my big, goofy self!  Just like Sully (& most young labradors) I can, on occasion, get myself into a little trouble with my overwhelming exuberance for life, but I'm truely a total lover of a guy who will be a life-long, loyal companion to some lucky Family!

I'm really enjoying my foster family which includes some pretty awesome adult humans, as well as a canine sibling who I love to frolic with!  When I'm not romping around with my new pals, I love to vigorusly wag my entire posterior side, potty exclusively outside, receive belly scratches and excitedly PLOP down into my bed in this adorably, clumsy manner.  I have yet to encounter younger children or cats so please inquire with the Paws & Co. folks about our compatibility if you think your creatures might appreciate my goofiness.

If you're searching for a fun, active, goofy guy to share your life with, please email
pawscoadoptions@gmail.com or fill out an adoption application on the Paws & Co. Adoptions website today (and tell them you want to ADOPT A MOOSE!)!

Leo

So, the other day, someone referred to me as a "Social Butterfly".  Therefore, I referenced my handy-dandy Dog-lish Dictionary and found the following:
1. A dog who is VERY social and easygoing. Usually these dogs bounce from one group to another and are accepted in all of them.
2. It's a word/title that is used to describe a dog that is popular
3. Leo.

Woah! Did you see that?!?  I'm Leo and I'm in the Dog-lish Dictionary listed under social butterfly!  I'm a 1-2 year-young, 10-lb Cairn terrier/Yorkshire terrier mix who is excited about life!!  I was transported to my stellar Paws & Co. foster family after being "rescued" from a rural Colorado shelter and I'm living my second-lease-on-life to the fullest.  I spend my days bouncing around the house  and flitting about all groups of pups and humans that I encounter.  When I'm not busy playing with my canine friends, I enjoying stretching out on any available yoga mat (I'm working on getting a new yoga pose named after me - don't you think "The Leo" sounds so much better than the generic "Downward Facing Dog"?)  I also want to share that I'm potty-trained, crate-trained and I'm a very fast learner (I probably wouldn't be popular if these 3 things weren't true)!  I have yet to encounter any feline characters or young children so please inquire with Paws & Co. if such characters are part of your family.

If a fun-loving, bouncy, yoga-loving social butterfly seems like a good fit for your family, please  email pawscoadoptions@gmail.com or fill out an adoption application on the Paws & Co. Adoptions website today!

Frick and Frack (kittens)

This one's Frick; that one's Frack. One is white; one is black(-ish)  Howdy there, Coloradans! We're Frick and Frack, two Siamese-mix kittens with stunning blue eyes who are searching for our Forever Families!  We're only 2-lbs and about 9-weeks old as of our biographies being written so we're searching for a fun-loving family who will enjoy our crazy kitten antics - but who is "in it" for the long-haul and will commit to a life-time of love!

We're enjoying each other's company a lot but we're happy to be adopted either together or into separate homes (as long as they're equally stellar families!) Our favorite activites include wrestling with each other, playing with any sort of cat nip toy & cuddling when we're all tired out.  We're already litter box trained and we're enjoying the company of all members of our foster family (even the human children!) so we're open to considering Forever Families that include humans (necessary), other cats (preferred) and friendly dogs (optional).

If you're looking to add a little playfullness to your life, we suggest you consider meeting one or the both of us!  You can get started by emailing pawscoadoptions@gmail.com or filling out an adoption application on the Paws & Co. Adoptions website today!

Penelope (cat!)

Good day.  I'm Penelope, a 1-2 year-old, 9-lb Siamese-mix who is searching for my Forever Family.  My name arises from the great Greek mother & wife, Penelope, who was so very beautiful and faithful - just like me!

I recently had a litter of kittens (two of my kittens "Frick" and "Frack" are also available for adoption through Paws & Co.) and I was a great Mama to them all.  However, it's now time for all of us to start searching for our separate Forever's.  I'll make some fantastic family a great pet as I'm already litterbox-trained and I don't mind spending limited time in a crate.  I'm friendly with all humans I've met (even younger children!) and I could probably co-habitate with other polite cats and/or dogs.  However, like all adoptable pets, I'll need to meet all potential future life-partners to ensure our compatibility.

If you'd like to meet such a distinguished, beautiful gal as myself, please email pawscoadoptions@gmail.com or fill out an adoption application on the Paws & Co. Adoptions website today!

Wally

Hello! I'm Wally, a 4-5 year-young, 52-lb Border collie who enjoys the simple thing in life - company of friendly humans (including well-behaved children), car rides with my family and laying in a ray of sunshine.  In fact, I'm content to lay in that ray of sunshine until you want something of me.  My foster family has both canine and feline members and I'm co-habitating just fine with them but, of course, I'd like the opportunity to meet all potential Family members before making a life-long commitment.

If you consider adding me to your family, I promise to not be too much trouble.  I'm housetrained and past the annoying puppy stage of chewing up your shoes and furniture.  I promise to greet visitors nicely and make you look like a great dog-parent!   In return, I ask that you keep me safe and comfortable - and spend some time teaching me the basics of dog obedience commands/tricks - although I'm VERY intelligent, no one has spent the time to teach me all of those basic, fun doggie obedience commands :-(.

Might you be the fabulous Family that can permanently turn my :-( upside down :-)?  If so, please email pawscoadoptions@gmail.com
or fill out an adoption application on the Paws & Co. Adoptions website today!

Bentley

"Gray skies are gonna clear up
Put on a happy face
Brush off the clouds and cheer up
Put on a happy face"

Hello there! I'm Bentley, a 8-month-young, 45-lb Shepherd/retriever mix who is one fine catch for some lucky family! I have quite the optimistic attitude toward life and I enjoy the companay of all dogs and children I've met.  Although I have yet to meet any cats, I have a gentle spirit so we just might be able to co-habitate (please check with the Paws & Co. folks if you have a feline family member!)

I ended up with my fantastic foster family after a pretty rough start in life.  I'm not going to provide details here as I've made the decision to put all that awfulness behind me and not look back!  Just like my theme song, I want to "Spread sunshine all over the place"!

I'm searching for a calm, patient and very loving Family who will provide lots of positive reinforcement to help me fully trust humans again.  I'm quite the intelligent lad, learning several basic obedience commands within 24 hours of arrival in my foster home.  I'm also already house-trained, crate-trained and I can cuddle with the best of them!  Woah, birdie - I'm ahead-of-the-game already!

"I knew a girl so gloomy
She'd never laugh or sing
She wouldn't listen to me
Now she's a mean old thing"  So...

"Pick out a pleasant look
Stick out that noble chin
Wipe off that full of doubt look
Slap on a happy grin" and email pawscoadoptions@gmail.com or fill out an adoption application on the Paws & Co. Adoptions website today!

Lebowski

Hello!  I'm Lebowski - as in "The Big" - but please call me "The Dude"  - or "El Duderino" if you're not into the whole "brevity thing."  I'm a 2-year-young 50-lb goofy Wire Haired Terrier who is thoroughly enjoying my time with my Foster Family (humans and canines alike) but dreams of the Big Day when I cross the threshold into the home of my Forever Family.  I was transported to Denver from a rural Colorado shelter and I'm quickly learning how fantastic it is to be part of a family!

While I'm a *very* fast learner, I'll need a family who can teach me what, exactly, is expected of canine family members.  My biggest undesireable habit is my overwhelming excitement that takes over when I see new people - I *love* to greet them vigorously with jumps, kisses and hugs!  I'm not quite sure why you humans consider this outpouring of love "undesireable" but I agree to try and curb my enthusiasm with some patient, positive reinforcement training (although my excitement might be directed straight out of my wiggling backsidebut so be sure you steer clear of the rear!) I'd love to be a part of an active family and would love to accompany you around Colorado hiking, snowshoeing and doing whatever other stereotypical Colorado activities you enjoy!  At the end of a long busy day, I love to snuggle and make a perfect 50-lb lap dog!!

I have yet to have experience the presence of a cat so I'm not quite sure how we'd get along - but all Family members will need to ensure they're comfortable with my big "Dude" enthusiasm prior to our committing to a life-long co-habitation situation.  If you're interested in adding "The Dude" to your family, please email pawscoadoptions@gmail.com or fill out an adoption application on the Paws & Co. Adoptions website today!

Autumn

Ahem...I'm Autumn, a 2-year-young 50-lb American Bulldog who'd like to share with you some of my favorite things...

"Colors on aspens and playin' and sittin' (I know basic obedience commands!)

Bright, happy humans and warm woolen mittens (sounds cozy!!)
Brown paper packages tied up with strings (is there a treat in there?!?)
These are a few of my favorite things

Cream colored antlers-chews and humans and cuddles
Doorbells (ruff!) and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles (sounds yummy!)
Friendly dogs that play & wrestle & sing (any potential basset hound siblings out there?)These are a few of my favorite things

Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes (older kids preferred over those little rug-rats, please!)
Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes (I heart Colorado!)
Silver white winters that melt into springs (I've seen exactly 2 of these in my life)
These are a few of my favorite things

When the wind bites
When my human's gone
When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don't feel so bad..."

I can just hear you now..."Bravo! Bravo!"  Thank you, friendly humans! To put in a bit more simple terms, I'm a happy, friendly, energetic, strong gal who gets along great with all humans and canines I've met.  I have yet to meet too many cats or children but they might be a bit put-off by my enthusiasm for life (and they don't seem to really appreciate my singing talent either) so please inquire with Paws & Co. if such creatures are a part of your family.

I'm searching for a Forever Family with the time and energy to help teach me what is expected of a larger-breed, strong gal such as myself.  I promise your front-end investment will pay off with a lifetime of snuggles, kisses, enthusiastic tail wags and songs!  If an attractive, talented gal might be the match for you, please email pawscoadoptions@gmail.com or fill out an adoption application on the Paws & Co. Adoptions website today!

Oreo

I'm Oreo and I'm quite the intelligent dude - so prepare yourself to learn!!  Did you know that the Oreo cookie was introduced in 1912?!  And, *I* was introduced (you humans call it "born") in 2010.  The Oreo cookie consists of two chocolate disks with a sweet cream filling in between...and I'm a black & white 5-lb beautiful Pomeranian with an oh-so-sweet soul!

I'm not your typical yappy little dog (not that I'm one to sterotype...) and I do my very best to mind my manners.  I already know some basic obedience commands...but my biggest and best trick is to BOUNCE!!  I bounce when I'm excited; I bounce when we're playing; and I bounce just to make my Foster Family smile!  I get along well with all humans (including kids!), dogs and cats (DID YOU HEAR THAT?!?  I'M GOOD WITH CATS!!!) that I've met. I hope to join an active family who has lots of love to give!

Did you know that the Oreo has been the best selling cookie in the United States for over 100 years?!?  Now that I've taught you so many fun-facts, I'm ready for you to teach me that being adopted by a family means FOREVER!  Please email pawscoadoptions@gmail.com or fill out an adoption application on the Paws & Co. Adoptions website today and ask for that smart Pom, Oreo!!

Shiloh

Hello there, folks!  I'm Shiloh, a 30-lb lab/cattle dog mix who was saved from a rural Colorado shelter by my amazing Foster Dad!  At 2.5-years young, I have a lifetime of love to share with the perfect Family!  The Paws & Co. people have fallen head-over-heels for me & we're working together to find the perfect family for me to join!  I know that once I find a family to love me, I'll be the best dog they've ever met!!!

What makes me such a great girl?  Here are just a few notable characteristics of mine...

Housetrained?  Yup.
Good with other dogs?  Yup.
Mello?  Yup.
Good with kids? Yup.
Good in the car?  Yup.
Loving & affectionate?  Yup.
Well-mannered on a leash?  Yup.
Loves to lay her head on human laps? Yup!

Pointless chewing?  No way.
Digging in your yard?  No way.
Mindless barking?  No way.

I have yet to have the opportunity to meet a feline friend so our compatibility is TBD (please inquire about likely compatibility if a you have a feline family member...as I don't want to miss out on a fantastic Family over a TBD issue!)

I'm looking forward to starting my Forever so, if you're interested in meeting me, please email pawscoadoptions@gmail.com or fill out an adoption application on the Paws & Co. Adoptions website today!

Chip

Yo! Yo! Yo! I'm Chip...as in Chip off the Old Block...or Chip and Dale...or, simply, Chip - the coolest Colorado dog around!  However you want to relate to me, I'm told my job in this 'barkography' is to advertise myself so I'm doing my best to be memorable...and clever!

I'm an 8-month young, 50-lb Labrador/Australian Shepherd mix who has a lifetime of love and energy to give!  I'd love to live the stereotypical Colorado life (Maybe summit a few 14-ers?  Maybe swim off the dock at Grand Lake?  Maybe snow shoeing?)  Whatever your passion, I'll just be happy to tag along!  Unfortunately, my first family couldn't handle a young, large pup and they kept me mostly in a crate - but, luckily, I ended up with the Paws & Co. family while I wait for my own Family to step forward! Given those tough, lonely first months, I *really* like to be around my humans so I'm looking for a patient Family with the *time* and *patience* I'll need to learn what is expected of a stellar adult canine citizen.

I'm an affectionate, loyal, intelligent pup who enjoys the company of all dogs I've met so far with Paws & Co.  As far as cats and young children, they may not appreciate my enthusiasm for life so we'd definitely need to meet prior to making a life-long commitment.  I'm already house-broken, know some basic obedience commands and I'm quickly learning polite leash manners (I'm quite eager to please you humans!)

Are you looking for some contagious puppy-enthusiasm in your life?  If so, I sure hope you email pawscoadoptions@gmail.com or fill out an adoption application on the Paws & Co. Adoptions website today (& mention Chip...in whatever context you prefer!!)

Denny

Who's cute and friendly and curly all over? Me! Denny! I'm an active pup searching for a home (and yard!) to call all my own (well...I'll gladly share it with a human or two - and a canine sibling would be fantastic too!)     I was originally found as a stray puppy in Colorado and adopted from a shelter at SIX-months of age.  Well, here I am at SIX-years-young looking for a FOREVER family (after my current family had a change in living situation).  I'm not quite sure how I feel about these "SIX's" - but I'm an optimistic lil' dude (at 25-lbs) who just knows that the next ONE will be THE ONE!

I'm quite a fabulous family member as I'm potty-trained, know basic obedience commands (high-FIVE, anyone?!?), crate-trained and one of the most playful guys you'll ever meet!  I love all people I've met and, while I've never lived with young children, I've always been on my best behavior with kiddo-encounters in public.  I'm also not quite sure what a cat is so if a cat is part of your family, please inquire with the Paws & Co. folks about our possible life-long compatibility.

Will you be the one to share the next SIX (or 7...or 8...or more?!?) years with me?  If so, let's get started already!  Please hurry up and email pawscoadoptions@gmail.com or fill out an adoption application on the Paws & Co. Adoptions website today!

Row

Looking for the classic American family dog?  Welp...you just found me! I'm Row - a 2 year-old, 35-lb Collie who my Foster Family compares to Lassie!  I'm smart, loyal, loving, patient, graceful and I just happen to be up for adoption through Paws & Co!

I'm a gal with quite a story to tell if you're willing to listen.  I initially was trained through a prison-training program (I am excellent on a leash (even when walked by children as young as 4 y/o!), crate-trained, house-trained and I know all those basic obedience commands - sit, stay, shake, lay down, roll over, come and I'm eager to learn more!)   Like so many amazing dogs, I ended up homeless (through no fault of my own) and spent some time in a rural Colorado shelter.  Luckily, my Foster Family recognized that a dog such as myself deserves to LIVE and they took me into their home where I'm enjoying the company of the adults, children (it's so sweet when they cuddle with me!), dogs and even the family guinea pig!  I haven't co-habitated with a cat yet but I don't chase squirrels, rabbits, etc so I could likely live just fine with a cat.  Of course, I'll need to meet all future family members to ensure that we're all happy with our living situation!

If you'd like to share a lifetime of love with a pup whose about as perfect as we get, please email pawscoadoptions@gmail.com or fill out an adoption application on the Paws & Co. Adoptions website today!

Rosie

Yipee!  YeeHaw!  Hi everyone!  My name is Rosie and I'm a 2 year-young, 35-lb Black Labrador who has been studying up on how to stand out in a crowd!  You see, us big black dogs can have a harder time getting adopted from rescues such as Paws & Co.  No worries for me though as I've developed some clownish antics to help me get noticed (such as perfecting my French kisses and hugging abilities)!   Woah Doggie - I sure know how to make you 2-legged folks smile!

I ended up with my fantastic Foster Family after being rescued from a rural Colorado shelter.  Sadly, another dog decided to pick on me and, while I don't have any physical wounds, my emotional wounds make me a bit skiddish around other dogs.  Even though I may not love other canines right now, I am a total people pleaser and both the shelter folks and my Paws & Co. family have nothing but fantastic things to say about me as I'm a fabulous gal!  I'm housetrained, crate-trained & good on a leash!  I even enjoy the presence of well-behaved children.  I don't have too much experience with cats so please ask the Paws & Co. folks their thoughts if a cat is part of your family.

If you're searching for a thoroughly unique, well-behaved canine family member then I just might be your gal!  Please email pawscoadoptions@gmail.com or fill out an adoption application on the Paws & Co. Adoptions website today (& don't forget to mention Rosie!)

Pumpkin

Good grief! It may have taken 47 years but the Great Pumpkin has finally arrived!  It's me...Pumpkin!  I'm a 6-lb terrier without opposable thumbs - so I need your human help to call Linus & notify him that the Great Pumpkin is here!!

At 3 years young, I've put most of those annoying puppy behaviors behind me...I'm potty-trained, not too much of a chewer & I love to relax & snuggle.  I am a bit timid and am looking for a family with the patience to help me adjust to being part of a loving, stable family.  I enjoy the company of all people I've met (although I haven't had too much contact with young kids yet) and my foster canine siblings are pretty swell.  I even met one of my foster feline siblings and I didn't seem too interested in him.  Ahem...did you hear that?!?  I'm a tiny terrier who can, likely, co-habitate with both canines & felines...Good Grief!  I'm actually amazing!!!

Are you the lucky human who wants to welcome the Great Pumpkin into your home?  If so, I promise you won't receive rocks in your trick-or-treat bag (like Charlie Brown did in 1966!). Please email pawscoadoptions@gmail.com or fill out an adoption application on the Paws & Co. Adoptions website today & tell them you believed in the Great Pumpkin all along!

Copper

Hello ya'll!  My name is Copper and I'm a 50-lb, Shepherd/Boxer mix who is true Southern Gentleman (just like my namesake from the 1981 movie The Fox & the Hound!)  I was rescued from a rural Colorado  doggie-death-row and brought to the city to find the perfect Forever Family.  I'm loving the friendly folks - both human and canine - I even enjoy the company of younger kids!

I'm completely potty-trained (what Southern Gentleman would relieve himself indoors?!?), crate-trained & I know some basic obedience commands.  At 1.5-years-young, I love to frolic with the best of them.  In fact, I'd prefer a home with another friendly dog (or two) for me to share my life with.  I have yet to meet any cats up close and personal so I'm not sure how we'll get along...but if they're part of your family, please inquire with the Paws & Co. folks about how we might enjoy each other's company.

Given my social, sweet nature, it was a bit tough on doggie-death-row...however, I'm not one to dwell on the past & I'm taking full advantage of my second chance.  After all,  "When life hands you lemons, you must just squeeze those lemons right on into some homemade sweet tea!"  I'm spending my time,

If you're looking forward to welcoming a loving, optimistic 4-legged companion into your Family, I just might the Gentleman for you!  Please email pawscoadoptions@gmail.com or fill out an adoption application on the Paws & Co. Adoptions website TODAY!

Ralph

Sexiest Dog Alive: Small Dog Division 2013. Yup. That's me...Ralph! I'm a 1.5 year-young, 6-lb Chihuahua &I'm quite the charmer! My foster Mom compares me to Hugh Jackman (he won the human division of the 'Sexiest' competition a few years back).  In addition to being handsome, my accomplishments include being potty-trained, doing handstands, giving kisses & spooning (& who wouldn't want to spoon with the Sexiest Dog Alive: Small Dog Division?!?)

Prior to living with my amazing Paws & Co. Foster Family, I was in a shelter in rural Colorado...not exactly the perfect fit for such an award-winning pup. Since moving to Denver, I've enjoyed spending time with all people I've met (even some younger children!) & I'm quickly adapting to life in a safe, loving home. While I'm initially cautious around other dogs (& who wouldn't be when you're always the smallest in the room?!?), I warm up quickly to friendly pups & I love playing & cuddling with my foster canine sibling. I also don't seem to mind cats so it's possible I could even have a feline sibling or two.

Given my sexiness, I do want to reassure all readers that I am neutered so you don't have to worry about my sexiness getting the best of me (ha!!) If you're ready to bring a happy, friendly, sexy canine into your family, please email pawscoadoptions@gmail.com or fill out an adoption application on the Paws & Co. Adoptions website today!

Maise

"Athletic, Energetic, Fearless, Intelligent, Vocal" -Wikipedia, re: Jack Russell Terrier Temperament.

Welp, Wikipedia described me to a tee!  I'm Maisie, a 1-year-young Jack Russell Terrier searching for my Forever Family through Paws & Co.  At 10.6 lbs, I'm a petite package of ATHLETICISM and ENERGY.  I love playing with just about any type of toy - stuffed, squeaky, bones, you name it & I want to play play PLAY!  I might even be good at such activities as agility or flyball if you're up for some real FUN!?!  I'm a friendly & FEARLESS gal who has enjoyed the company of all dogs and humans I've encountered (although I have yet to meet any young kids or cats).  Just like all adoptable pups, I'll need to meet all potential family members to ensure our compatibility as roomies.

My Foster Mom is working hard to help me learn what is expected of an adult canine citizen but, don't worry, I'm INTELLIGENT  and already have a headstart (I'm potty-trained and know some basic obedience commands).  I'm working on the "VOCAL" part of my temperament and need a Family with the patience to teach me appropriate times to vocalize my opinions :).  I'll repay your patience by being your loving, friendly family companion for years to come!

If you're interested in meeting me, please email pawscoadoptions@gmail.com or fill out an adoption application on the Paws & Co. Adoptions website (and mention Maisie) TODAY!

Ellie

Hello. My name is Ellie and I'm concerned about our economy. At last check, dog food was up $3 per bag...that's $21 in dog money (hee! hee!)  At 1-year young, I'm already a real caretaker who is concerned about all of those around me - most importantly my five baby American Bulldogs I'm currently nursing. I gave birth in the heat of the summer in La Junta and lost 2 of my babies before the remaining 6 of us were rescued and, eventually, ended up with Paws & Co. where we're loving our Foster Family and all looking forward to a bright future!

Given that I'm still nursing and protecting my puppies, I don't really like for other dogs to come around us right now so we'll have to wait until the pups are weaned to determine whether I enjoy the company of other dogs.  With that said,  I enjoy the company of all humans I've met (even kids!) so I hope to join a fun, loving family!  Even though I'm a young gal, Mama-hood has made me grow up quickly and I seem to be past the real puppy-hood phase of chewing, jumping up on guets and going postty in the house.  I am treat-motivated and a very quick learner so I hope we can work together to perfect all those basic obedience commands (and maybe even learn some advanced tricks to show off around town!)  And, did I mention that I'm a petite girl at 35-lbs and I'm quite the looker!?!!

While I'm enjoying my Mama roll in life (including my concerns about our economy), I look forward to the day I find a loving, faithful family in which I can relax and trust that we will be together forever.  In exchange I promise to always keep an eye out for your best interests (what else would you expect from such a caretaker?!?)  I'll be available for adoption mid-October but I'm currently reviewing applications (hee! hee!) so if you're interested in meeting, please email pawscoadoptions@gmail.com or fill out an adoption application on the Paws & Co. Adoptions website today!

Frankie

Puppy! Puppy!  Puppy!  Hiya! I'm Frankie, a 10-wk young, 10-lb boxer puppy looking for my Forever Family!  I'm a smart little dude who is quickly learning what is expected of a superstar adult canine citizen.  As you read, I'm working on potty-training (I sit by the door when I really "gotta go"), crate-training (I don't love the crate yet but I am getting used to it) and basic obedience commands.  I will likely turn out to be a rather large adult dog so I need to make sure I master these skills while I'm a little guy...which means I am searching for a family with the patience and willingness to invest the time it takes to help me develop into the dog that all humans want in their family!

Like most young'uns, I'm super friendly and love to play - especially with stuffed toys.  I enjoy the company of all humans (even kids!) and other dogs I've had the pleasure to meet.  I have yet to meet a cat so not quite sure what I think about them yet.  When I'm worn out, I quite a snuggler and hope my future family will share their lap with me!

If you are interested in meeting me &, potentially, investing in a lifetime of shared memories, please email pawscoadoptions@gmail.com or fill out an adoption application on the Paws & Co. Adoptions website today!

Chloe

Howdy, folks!  I'm Chloe, a 10-year-YOUNG, 47-lb Boxer who'd like to share with you all my take on life...

These legs were made for bouncin' (I am a boxer after all!)
These paws were made for walkin' (hint! hint! - I love walks!)
Humans were made for pleasin' (I'm very eager to please!)
Couches were made for loungin' (but I'll get down if you'd prefer...)
Children were made for lovin' (I lived with children previously and we got along just fine)
Human hands were made for pettin' (puh-lease...I love all people I've met!)
Outdoors were made for potty-in' (I'm housetrained like any nice gentleman)
Baby gates were made for jumpin' (so a secure fence (at least 5-ft) is a must)
Dogs & cats were made for co-habitatin' (I lived with 2 cats in my previous home & a dog in my current foster home & we all get along just fine).
Treats were made for rewardin' (I know basic obedience commands & love to show them off!)

...and I was made for being YOUR COMPANION!

I was relinquished by my former family & I'd like to learn that...

Dogs were made for keepin'!!

Will you be the special person to show me that adopting a dog means forever?!?  If so, please hurry up & email pawscoadoptions@gmail.com or fill out an adoption application on the Paws & Co. Adoptions website today...I'm ready to stop theorizing and start seeing some forever action!
