Ellie

Hello. My name is Ellie and I'm concerned about our economy. At last check, dog food was up $3 per bag...that's $21 in dog money (hee! hee!)  At 1-year young, I'm already a real caretaker who is concerned about all of those around me - most importantly my five baby American Bulldogs I'm currently nursing. I gave birth in the heat of the summer in La Junta and lost 2 of my babies before the remaining 6 of us were rescued and, eventually, ended up with Paws & Co. where we're loving our Foster Family and all looking forward to a bright future!

Given that I'm still nursing and protecting my puppies, I don't really like for other dogs to come around us right now so we'll have to wait until the pups are weaned to determine whether I enjoy the company of other dogs.  With that said,  I enjoy the company of all humans I've met (even kids!) so I hope to join a fun, loving family!  Even though I'm a young gal, Mama-hood has made me grow up quickly and I seem to be past the real puppy-hood phase of chewing, jumping up on guets and going postty in the house.  I am treat-motivated and a very quick learner so I hope we can work together to perfect all those basic obedience commands (and maybe even learn some advanced tricks to show off around town!)  And, did I mention that I'm a petite girl at 35-lbs and I'm quite the looker!?!!

While I'm enjoying my Mama roll in life (including my concerns about our economy), I look forward to the day I find a loving, faithful family in which I can relax and trust that we will be together forever.  In exchange I promise to always keep an eye out for your best interests (what else would you expect from such a caretaker?!?)  I'll be available for adoption mid-October but I'm currently reviewing applications (hee! hee!) so if you're interested in meeting, please email pawscoadoptions@gmail.com or fill out an adoption application on the Paws & Co. Adoptions website today!
