There was a new human baby in this guy's family so they say they didn't have time to take care of him. He's an amazing dog & I hope someone soon realizes just how much he has to offer.
If you're looking for a BEST FRIEND, you've come to the right place! I'm Bailey, a 3 year-old, 62 lb labrador/golden retriever mix & I'm searching for a BEST FRIEND (or two...or three...). Unfortunately, my previous family was too busy to properly care for me but, luckily, they brought me to MaxFund where I am being well cared for until my Forever Family comes around. My former guardians described me as a "perfect boy" who is good with all people (kids included!), other dogs, and even cats. I've mastered basic obedience commands, such as sit & lie down, and I'm very treat motivated. As I'm still in my younger years, I'm a rather active guy so I hope frequent trips to the dog park and/or walks/jogs will be part of my new life. I also hope for lots of affection & cuddling!
My favorite activities include playing tug o' war, chase, romping with other dogs & burying my head in your lap (while you rub behind my ears). Did I mention that I'm past the annoying chewing phase of puppy-hood and I'm housetrained? Oh...and I have gloriously soft fur that is perfect for cozying up to!!
