Handsome

Update: Handsome passed away in his sleep soon after his adoption.  His new Family was very loving and mourned his loss greatly.  They were thankful for the short time they had with this awesome guy and see that time as a blessing for all involved.  Hope you're enjoying the Rainbow Bridge, Handsome.

5/14/11: Handsome is in a Foster Home.


As I was brought to MaxFund as a stray, folks were faced with picking my name.  They considered my personality characteristics first.  Chill.  Mellow.  Polite.  These traits are all nice & accurate but the names didn't quite sound right.  They then turned to my physical attributes, including my luxurious coat and pointy ears.  One adjective came to mind...Handsome!!  Yep, that's me, Handsome - a 7-year YOUNG shepherd mix who is content to just hang out & appreciate the simple pleasures of life.  Walks.  Car rides.  Lovin'.  These are the things that make life worth living.

I'm not too demanding of your time; I'm content to just be in your presence.  I do appreciate regular exercise and I am excellent on a leash.  And, while the MaxFund folks can't speak as to how I'd do living with cats and kids, I sure don't seem to mind them when I'm out and about at MaxFund.  I've also been friendly with other dogs I've met around here.  Of course, like all adoptees, I'll need to meet the entire family (all 2-legged & 4-legged folks) prior to deciding whether we can live together FOREVER!
