So, I've decided that each dog at MaxFund deserves a separate post. I'm going to post them in order that I wrote them. As I write this post, I've completed 35 separate bios - which means there are 33 more posts to come :o)
Here's Bear:
He's a rather little guy as far as I'm concerned - around 30lbs. Such a sweet gentleman. I tried to focus on how darn cute he was! I still didn't know that I was supposed to look in his file for more details about his past, or how he interacts with people/dogs/cats. Either way, he was adopted within a couple weeks! I saw him out walking around with his future Family, which included another dog that looked pretty similar to him. His bio:
Well, hello there. My name is Bear and I’m a 9-year-young little gentleman. I came to MaxFund from a high-kill shelter in New Mexico, and I feel so fortunate that someone realized just how distinguished I really am.
I am a lover, who enjoys cuddling. The ladies tell me that my right floppy ear and left perky ear are my best physical features. Honestly, I think my best feature is my belly and I’ll gladly show it off while you give me some pets all day long. I love all kinds of people and I really enjoy the company of other classy dogs.
When you approach me at MaxFund, I’ll look at you longingly – but I won’t bark. I’m very housebroken and can’t bring myself to “go” in my cage at MaxFund so am so grateful when people take me on walks. I am great on a leash, I answer to my name and will sit for treats.
I am so excited for the day that I get to go home to my Forever Family. I know I’ll be a good family member – to both your 2-legged and 4-legged family members. If you’re in the neighborhood, please come meet me. I’m in the big dog area (although I'm really just a medium-sized guy) and will be eagerly waiting!
