Can you believe this lil' gal had firecrackers thrown at her? And she still loved all people...we could learn something from her! Although I still hadn't figure out the "right" way to write bios, Koda got adopted within a couple weeks of this post...
Hi everyone! My name is Koda and I’m a 2 year-old chocolate lab mix. I was brought to a high-kill shelter after some young kids were found to be throwing firecrackers at me. Not sure why they were doing that…but they sure didn’t break my spirit! When my time was up at the first shelter, I was lucky to be brought to MaxFund and now I’m eagerly awaiting my Forever Family!
I absolutely love being around people and other friendly dogs. And, I especially love going on walks! I really try to please the humans when we’re out exploring and I answer to my name and love to sit for treats! When I'm out and about, I don't seem too concerned with cats I've seen so I think I could live with one. The humans seem to love my soft fur and curly tail – and I sure love getting pets!
I’m looking for an active family who will help me explore Colorado! My thick fur should help keep me warm this winter if you like winter sports – I hear snow shoeing is popular around these parts. I know I’ll love hiking and maybe I can even summit a few of those 14,000 foot mountains with you! At the end of the day, I’m just a fun-loving, good-natured guy who just wants to cuddle and be part of your family.
If you're in the area, I'd love to visit with you - and maybe we can go explore for a while!
